aboutus
The mid 1900s was a different world. It was.a world in which idealism still played a pivotal role in the shaping of human mind. Inspired by Gandhiji, and driven by the passion of improving the lot of the people not as privileged as he was, Mr Pramukhlal Manilal Patel, a prominent businessman from Ahmedabad set up the M.G. Patel Sarvoday Kendra in the under developed tribal area of Amirgarh on the border of Gujarat and Rajasthan.

His objective was noble and clear. The trust would work towards the development of the region by providing education, skill development and vocational training that would ensure the mainstreaming of the men, women and children of that region.

Almost 60 years down the road, in a different India, in a different world, the trust continues the good work raising thousands out of ignorance and poverty and providing them with skills that allow them to live their lives with dignity, pride and as contributing citizens of India and the wider world.
